01.The Client

Thrive Workplace provides a results-driven workspace in 4 Denver locations, with flexible terms and packages to fit business needs in the future of work.

The sites are ranging from 80– 30,000 square feet.

They enable businesses to thrive through the flexibility, experience, and support of their flex office workspaces and beyond.

Currently, they have more than 700 members, from a broad range of industries, from Solopreneurs to Fortune500. They served the Arvada, Ballpark, Centennial, and Cherry Creek communities with a dozen employees.

02.The Challenges

We have helped Thrive in keeping a professional and safe/healthy environment as a critical differentiator in their value proposition during the pandemic, to drive business during those challenging times.

The COVID-19 pandemic affected the coworking flex industry because people were afraid to come onsite.

They were concerned about cleanliness of their workspace, so Thrive needed to instill confidence on their members to come back to their sites.

03.The Solution

We have developed a mobile app, for iOS and Android, including an app for Thrive customers and a Back Office for Thrive internal use to maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work and meeting spaces.

The mobile app for users has four main pages and the back office five.

The mobile app works depending on the specific location, while the back office functions based on Site Managers as Administrators assigned to specific locations.

The app automatically detects the closest Thrive location and selects it using a GPS feature.

The Info Page was created to distribute Covid-related ‘recommendations’ to members, aiming to make them feel more comfortable spending time inside all the Thrive locations.

The mobile app for Thrive clients was designed to ensure users can:

  • Register as a member.
  • Manage their user profile.
  • See booking history and upcoming reservations.
  • Check room status.
  • Make new reservations with a click.

Web apps

The back office app enables managers to:

  • Check, through dashboards, occupancy rate, and service requests from users.
  • Manage customizable surveys: create, edit, launch, deactivate, check responses, etc.
  • Configure bookable rooms or spaces: create new spaces, check and update cleaning status
  • Booking system information.
  • See all of the available Rooms and booked Rooms (along with the user who booked it)
  • Check & manage Services list and its corresponding information.
  • Check & manage health recommendations.
  • The mobile app for Thrive clients was designed to ensure users can register as a member, manage their user profile, see booking history and upcoming reservations, check room status, and make new reservations with a click.

04.The Results

The app allowed Thrive to stand out among competitors and survive the COVID pandemic.

The app is available on Google Play and Apple Store, and it had consistently high download rates through 2021.

However, use started to fall off as members felt the COVID-19 pandemic was slowing down. It was a special application for a specific time.

Now we are planning to keep working on new features to make this app something bigger.
